The harvest is ending........................

Well the harvest is ending, and what a ride it was this season!!!!!!!!!!!!  I had a blast even though my back did not cooperate most days.  What would usually take an hour or so, sometimes took two days!!  BUT I was determined to grow myself some veggies.  I had enough harvest from the Kentucky Wonder beans to freeze several bulging quarts.  Some of the bell peppers were chopped, IQF'd and placed in the freezer for sauce, chili, and soups.  In addition to the gardening, I made raspberry, strawberry, cherry and Peach-ginger jams, made a few jars of Bread & Butter pickles.  And with the huge quantity of zucchini's at the Rochester Public Market, loaves of Zucchini Bread are headed for the freezer too.

The Littlest Ear

This was the littlest ear this season, but boy was it good microwaved in it's husk with Todd's Dirt!
